Promoting Women’s Resilience in Africa’s Arid Regions in the Age of COVID-19, was a one-hour online panel discussion focusing on how empowering women can provide the greatest return on investment for helping families and communities achieve a future free from poverty and food insecurity.

Building and Insuring Assets for Durable Empowerment of Women in Kenya

Researchers at the University of California, Davis in partnership with the BOMA Project in Kenya have combined two effective programs, poverty graduation, and insurance. This event will highlight new data pointing to the promise of this joint intervention to amplify and protect assets, creating resilient graduation from poverty for women and their families.

Resilience in the Face of Poverty Traps
