Nick Magnan is a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in international development. His research covers various aspects of agricultural technology adoption and natural resource use, primarily in developing countries. Magnan is especially interested in the inter- and intra- household processes that affect these outcomes such as diffusion of information through social networks and bargaining between spouses. Magnan received his Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from UC Davis.
