Presentation: USAID Climate Change Adaptation Programs

USAID has implemented a climate change strategy with a focus of helping countries and communities prepare for and adapt to changes in climate. Countries of focus include the least developed countries, countries in Africa, small island developing states and glacier-dependent countries. The three main adaptation programs current offered involve improving access to science and analysis, establishing effective governance systems, and identifying and disseminating actions that increase resilience.

This presentation is based on AMA Innovation Lab projects for the 2013 BASIS/I4 Technical Committee Meeting. This meeting gathered researchers affiliated with the Index Insurance Innovation Initiative (I4) at UC Davis.

This presentation took place in University of California Davis, United States.
