Why do we care about soil heterogeneity? Through soil heterogeneity we can increase the use of improved inputs as a pathway to reduced rural poverty and increased food security. Governments, researchers, and NGOs struggle to understand how to increase adoption of these inputs. Input subsidies, extension services, and regional input recommendations are common approaches, soil heterogeneity is uniquely different.
This presentation is based on the AMA Innovation Lab projects for the webinar event for Soil Variation and Why it Matters. This webinar is an excellent opportunity for engaging with research experts and learning about new evidence to better design, validate, and improve future interventions.
This presentation took place online on June 29, 2017.
