Presentation: Feed the Future Tanzania

Feed the Future's goals for Tanzania are clear.  Feed the Future wants to improve food security to over 200,000 households and hence benefiting directly 1 million vulnerable populations including women and children, reduce poverty rates from 38 percent to 32 percent in the target area by 2015, and increase yields of target crops by at least 50 percent.

This presentation is based on AMA Innovation Lab projects for the Collaborative Research Council Meeting. This meeting provided an opportunity for USAID staff members and mission staff from USAID/Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Mozambique to join their agricultural research and development partners to discuss existing programs and future directions for advancing efforts along the research to development continuum.

This presentation was presented by Mary Hobbs from USAID and took place in Morogoro, Tanzania.
