Yao Pan is an assistant professor of economics at Aalto University (former Helsinki School of Economics). Her research interests are development economics and labor economics. Most of her current research is focused on agricultural intervention in Africa and China and migration behavior and education choices, and how they interact under certain migration policies. She received her Ph.D. in economics from The George Washington University.
