Susan Godlonton's research focus is on economic development in Africa, with specific interests in preventative health care, transitions to work and agricultural productivity. She has extensive experience working in Malawi, but has also conducted or have active research projects in Burkina Faso, Rwanda and Senegal. She previously worked at the International Food Policy Research Institute in the Markets, Trade and Institutions Division. Godlonton received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.
