Director, Research Center for Agricultural Policy and Programs (CEPPAG)
Lourenço Manuel is director of the Research Center for Agricultural Policy and Programs (CEPPAG) and an assistant professor of agricultural economics and development at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) in Mozambique. Manuel has long experience in quantitative method analysis and implementing household surveys including sampling, questionnaire development, supervision in data collection process, enumerator training, database creation, statistical analysis and quantitative report writing. He has worked as a consultant for the FAO, World Vision and other international organizations. Manuel holds a Ph.D. in statistics and design of agrisystem experiments from Federal University of Lavras, Brazil.
