Bio
Kristina Hallez manages the Health and Psychology portfolio at CEGA, including the Psychology and Economics of Poverty Initiative. She previously served as a Senior Research Program Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, coordinating the Fogarty African Bioethics Training Program and projects on informed consent and research ethics. Kristina has also worked at the Social Research Center at the American University in Cairo, helping design a conditional cash transfer program for governorates in rural Upper Egypt and supporting projects focused on women’s empowerment. Kristina holds an MPP with a certificate in International Development from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University.
