James Stevenson leads CGIAR Standing Panel on Impact Assessment (SPIA) integration of CGIAR data needs about agricultural innovations into national data systems. In particular, he has spearheaded SPIA’s collaboration with the World Bank LSMS-ISA team and national statistical agencies in Ethiopia and Uganda. Stevenson has a range of technical and managerial experience with SPIA having played a key role in the Strengthening Impact Assessment in the CGIAR (SIAC 2013 - 2017) and Diffusion and Impact of Improved Varieties in Africa (DIIVA 2009-2012) programs. He holds a Ph.D. in agricultural economics.
