Bio

Felix Masiye is the dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zambia and an affiliate assistant professor at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington. Masiye's research interests span health program evaluation, health financing and health system performance assessment. He has extensive knowledge of health systems in sub-Saharan Africa.

Masiye has over 18 years experience working closely with the Zambia Ministry of Health, the National Malaria Control Program and other government departments. He has published a number of papers in health financing, health program evaluation and health system performance assessment. Masiye earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
