On July 18, 2018, the Financial Times East Africa edition featured the AMA Innovation Lab event in Tanzania that brought together leaders in index insurance from across the continent to share lessons on successful implementation. The event, "Agricultural Insurance in Tanzania: Public and Private Sector Roles and Responsibilities," took place in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on July 19, 2018. It was organized by the AMA Innovation Lab at the invitation of the Tanzanian Insurance Regulatory Authority.
