Bio

Brian Dillon is a development economist whose work focuses on agriculture, food policy, ICT, linkages between food and energy markets, measuring risk and expectations, and related topics.  His field work takes place primarily in east Africa. Prior to joining the Evans School faculty he was a post-doctoral researcher at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Cornell Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. Brian has received research funding from the National Science Foundation, the World Bank, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, IZA, and the Institute for Social Sciences at Cornell University. Brian received his Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University in 2011.
