Bio

Samba Mbaye is an assistant professor of economics at Université Gaston Berger in Senegal. His research examines the impact of anti-poverty programs on well-being. He has extensive knowledge of the Senegal Fleuve Valley as well as of national agricultural policy in Senegal. Mbaye was principal investigator for the Impact Evaluation of the OMVS (Organization for the development of the Senegal River)  Integrated Water Resources Management Program in Sénégal, Mali, Guinea and Mauritania in 2016. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France.
