Charles Yaw Okyere is a development economist with expertise in the application of behavioral, experimental and quasi-experimental economic techniques to health, education, agriculture and welfare. He has worked for research organizations that include the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and ACDI/VOCA. He received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn.
