Bradford Mills' research interests include the roles that technology, education, and social safety nets play in determining household well being. His primary teaching responsibilities include graduate courses in rural development, regional economics, and microeconomics. He has lived and worked in a number of countries including, Sri Lanka, The Gambia, Guinea, Kenya, The Netherlands, and Germany. Mills received his Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from UC Berkeley.
