Bio
Kevin Carney is a development economist studying political economy and behavioral economics. His research uses field experiments to answer policy questions in developing countries. He was been a postdoctoral fellow at the Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago, and in 2023 joined the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan as an assistant professor. Carney received his Ph.D. in Public Policy (PPOL) at Harvard University Kennedy School.
