This presentation given by Paswel Marenya, socioeconomist at CIMMYT on November 14th, 2019  in Nairobi, Kenya, elaborated on the structure and partnerships involved in the research to combine drought tolerant maize seeds with index-based seed insurance undertaken in Mozambique and Tanzania. In particular, the seed company perspectives were highlighted providing essential information about private sector scaling potential.
