Open Data Requirements
Per USAID’s Open Data Policy, researchers are required to submit datasets with USAID (MRR) funding to the “Development Data Library” in machine-readable, non-proprietary formats. MRR will help facilitate data submission upon request (basis@ucdavis.edu). Research datasets that are the basis for academic publications will be released as early as the date of publication, but no later than 12 months from the date of acceptance for publication.

Communications

The MRR Innovation Lab communications team provides all aspects of communications support, from announcing and sharing new projects and research results to producing high-quality publications and other communications-related materials, as well as developing and coordinating events to connect researchers to development stakeholders. The team is also required to make available all products that come from funded MRR Innovation Lab projects, including working papers, results summaries and journal publications. Contact Sarah Sitts (ssitts@ucdavis.edu) to share the outcomes of MRR-funded research and to request any assistance with sharing results at any point in the project timeline. Contact Sophie Javers (sejavers@ucdavis.edu) for all events-related queries.
