In early 2024, MRR hosted a 2-day Behavioral Economics Forum, which featured the research of economists and psychologists across a range of topics relevant to rural development programming. Following the Forum, we launched a webinar series, with each webinar taking a close-up look at a different theme.
This article highlights present bias, locus of control, and depression, discussing how each of these phenomena can affect the uptake and success of development interventions.
