On May 11, 2017, PreventionWeb, a web platform and service of the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), featured an article by AMA Innovation Lab assistant director Tara Steinmetz based on results from an impact evaluation by one of our research teams. The article presents a summary list of five key lessons from the intervention and what we learned in the two years since a devastating earthquake struck Nepal in 2015.
