UC Davis Features AMA Innovation Lab Project in Mozambique
On April 22, 2019, UC Davis featured an AMA Innovation Lab project in Mozambique that early results show significantly increased maize yields for small-scale farmers. The project, in partnership with CIMMYT and local seed and insurance companies, pairs drought-tolerant improved maize seed with index insurance to provide a seed-replacement guarantee in the event of a severe drought.
