PreventionWeb Features AMA Innovation Lab Research from Mozambique
On April 23, 2019, PreventionWeb featured an AMA Innovation Lab project in Mozambique that early results show significantly increased maize yields for small-scale farmers. The project, in partnership with CIMMYT and local seed and insurance companies, pairs drought-tolerant improved maize seed with index insurance to provide a seed-replacement guarantee in the event of a severe drought.
